the "about flipping time" giveaway

McMojo is still suffering from Buckfast withdrawals (let's not talk about the deep fried pizza cravings) so progress is slow but there is progress, which means that we're heading in the right direction.  Anyway, this is my 200th blogpost, which has taken wa-a-a-y longer to reach than I'd thought it would.  By some bizarre co-incidence, I now have just over 200 instagram followers and more followers on bloglovin' than I ever expected.  And I haven't had a giveaway for yonks so, it's definitely time for an "about flipping time" giveaway.

Here's what's up for grabs....

I've had much fun making divided baskets for my friends to use as nappy holders and generally enjoy Anna's patterns so I am offering to make the winner a noodle-head pattern of her choice....

here are the options from the noodle-head shop
I'll also include the social tote with the options about

social tote_carolyn friedlander and anna graham
courtesy of carolyn friedlander's website
I've tried to do this Rafflecopter thingy so that I'm totally down with the kids, lolz or somesuch!  I hope it works!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Basically, answer the question for one chance to win and for an optional second chance, follow me on instagram.  Simples.  Open to all.  Oh, and I will try really hard to get the finished thing to you by Christmas (McMojo permitting!).

Like others, I'm planning to Go Sober in October.  This will be in memory of the parents of my best friend who both passed away in the same week in September.  I am not collecting sponsorship myself, but if you would like to donate a little something please do so either via https://gosober.org.uk/profile/luiserussell  or Pippa's link https://gosober.org.uk/profile/pippaparsons

  1. Awesome giveaway! I've no idea about mocktails I'm afraid, I'm more likely to stick the kettle on :)

  2. Superb giveaway idea. How about some of that cordial stuff that Ikea sell along with tonic and some orange juice? Face anything less than alcohol will not hit the spot but good luck anyway.

  3. Fab giveaway! All her patterns are amazing! Sorry, but I don't know any mocktails, but what I do think is a nice non alcoholic drink is mixing some nice green bottle (or other brand!) cordial with sparkling water. Good luck with you McMojo!

  12. Dont have a mocktail but instead of and Irish Coffee I have black coffee, and condensed milk which goes to the bottom not on top. Sickly at the end but lush :)

  13. ps I followed you on Instagram

  14. Mmmm mocktails - all my favourites have grenadine in. Grenadine with ginger beer / tonic water, grenadine with OJ / tonic or lemonade, grenadine with tropical juice / fizz ..... If you are allowed angostura bitters (I know they contain alcohol but you only need a droplet to change the taste of your drink) that makes a mocktail even better!! And don't forget your mini paper umbrella.

  15. PS where did you get your Social Tote pattern from? I can't find any UK / European retailers at all!

    ReplyDelete
  16. The only mocktail I ever had was a Virgin Bloody Mary, I like mine with lots of olive...

    ReplyDelete
  17. Good luck! I'm afraid I don't drink so am no use in the mocktail suggestions, maybe take up biscuit eating instead?!

  18. I once heard someone (at a weight watchers meeting!!) say that you could fool yourself into thinking you were drinking rum and coke, by drinking diet coke with rum flavouring - sounds vile disgusting to me, and why would you???? Good luck for October..... compensate the alcohol with cake would be my suggestion. I can't work those raffle things, I'm too old!! xxx

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hmm. I don't drink so should be good at this mocktail thing! But I don't get much past lemonade, my favourite. Stick a shot of lime in it, lots of ice and a stirrer/brolly combo and I'm a happy girl!!

  33. Other than during pregnancy I try and avoid Mocktails!! Only joking, well done for going sober!!!
M&S have a really nice sparkling apple juice, (thats in a lovely bottle too) that I've taken to dinners when I've had to drive. Then at least you feel like your having something nicer than water! Also tonic water with a slice of lemon and lime often makes me feel like I'm having the gin in there too!

  46. I had to give up Diet Coke/caffeine and so I mix the posh 'Green Bottle' cordial, apple and plum is the best, with fizzy water which I used to hate. So add a twist of lemon, ice and a little brolly to make your mocktail. Good luck .... If failed already, sat having a Cider to use the Wifi

    ReplyDelete

  56. Your patterns are amazing. I'd love to have any one of them!! Mocktails...I don't know that I've ever actually had one. Maybe a shirley temple? I drink way too much coffee, myself. But maybe some great new teas or something would supplement. :) Good luck, and great cause.

  65. Congratulations for your blog! Why stay sober for a month?! I'd never even heard of mocktails, they sound terrible. OK, if you really have to, make yourself a granita: loads of ice and a really sugary black cherry syrup!
